Dear Friends and Neighbors,
This September 11 Day of Service, we invite you to join us in bringing hope and relief to a resilient family in our community who are in urgent need our help.
The Journey: Two years ago, our dear friend Angela Howe received a life-saving kidney transplant. This miracle followed years of severe illness, multiple surgeries, prolonged hospital stays, and time spent in care centers. While we celebrated her new lease on life, the overwhelming financial toll of her long-term medical care left her family severely burdened with medical bills.
Recent Hardships: Unfortunately, the challenges have suddenly multiplied:
She and her mother are facing an immense emotional and financial storm. They need a lifting hand.
How can you help? We have initiated a Giving Tree through Anything for a Friend, a non-profit organization set up to help people dealing with life threatening situations. Anything for a Friend will match the funds that we raise up to $500, but we can raise much, much more. In addition to matching the funds, Anything for a Friend will provide a tree to present to Angela which symbolizes hope and is a reminder that she is not alone in her struggle. This is a wonderful opportunity! You can donate gift cards (gas, Walmart, restaurants, etc.) cash, checks (written to Anything for a Friend/Angela Howe), or if you would like to donate using Anything for a Friend’s Venmo or online at www.anythingforafriend.com.

If you’d like to drop cash, check, or cards off in person by September 11th, please contact Lori Hendry at lyhendry01@hotmail.com or 801-668-6008.
Every small act of kindness helps rebuild a life. Thank you for your generosity, your prayers, and your willingness to serve. Thank you for doing Anything for a Friend and helping out the Howes!
With gratitude,
Sharilyn Johnson and Lori Hendry
