Thomas Kammeyer
On January 8th, 2010 Thomas and Jordan Kammeyer received the devastating news that the growth in his mouth was indeed cancer. He was diagnosed with a very rare soft tissue cancer called Fibrosarcoma. Since the diagnosis he has under gone an excruciating 14 hour surgery and 7 weeks of radiation, only to find that the cancer had spread to his chest and lungs. For now, the doctors are optimistically experimenting with a new chemotherapy regime. If the cancer does not respond to this regime, he will be placed on a clinical trial. The Doctors have said that Thomas will be the first human in this clinical trial.
To help Thomas and his family with mounting medical bills and to show them how many people love, care and support them, an Anything for a Friend community fundraiser event is being held. We need all of your help, whether in the organizing committee, donating to the silent/live auction, giving a cash donation, or showing your support in a unique way, we welcome anything you can do.
